PLUGINS BORN
FROM REAL NEEDS.

Upluggit is a WordPress plugin development studio focused on building small, purposeful tools. Every plugin we ship started as a solution to a problem we encountered in real projects, then refined until it was clean enough to share with the WordPress community.

HOW IT STARTED

Media Restriction came first. We were building a multi-author WordPress site and realized there was no clean, lightweight way to prevent users from browsing each other’s uploads in the media library. Existing solutions were either bloated admin suites or abandoned plugins with security concerns.

So we built a focused solution, tested it thoroughly, and published it on WordPress.org. The response confirmed what we already felt: the WordPress ecosystem needs more single-purpose tools that do one thing well.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

Focused Evolution. Each plugin has a clear focus area and grows with purpose. When a new feature aligns with that focus, we add it to the existing plugin rather than creating a separate one. This keeps the ecosystem clean, reduces plugin fatigue, and delivers more value with fewer installs.

Free by Default. Our plugins are free on WordPress.org. We believe utility-level tools for WordPress should be accessible to everyone, not gated behind premium tiers.

Block-First. We build for the modern WordPress editor. No shortcode dependencies, no Classic Editor fallbacks. Clean integration with Gutenberg is a requirement, not an afterthought.

// Our Plugins

WHAT WE’VE SHIPPED

Media Restriction

Restricts media library access so each user only sees their own uploads. Perfect for multi-author blogs, membership sites, and client portals. Activates with zero configuration needed.

DisplayKit

Adds conditional visibility, responsive display rules, and scheduling to any Gutenberg block. Show or hide content based on user role, device type, date range, and more without writing a single line of code.

“The best plugin is the one you forget is running. It just works.”
